Curious George: medicating a cat
Our cat has had some serious medical problems lately, and we have to give her medication on a daily basis, probably off-and-on for the rest of her life. We have two problems: restraining her without hurting her or making her panic, and administering oral medication.

The Aberree was a 'zine, or newletter, published from 1954 through 1965.
The Aberree shows that convention and uniformity weren't the whole story of the 50s, by a long shot. It also shows that Scientology, which has grown famous for its attempts to silence dissent and criticism, was trying to squelch debate 50 years ago ... with similarly ineffective tactics.

A swiss dude called Paul Bucherer has a plan to rebuild the Buddhas of Bamiyan and has already raised over 1 million pounds to this end. The Buddhas, over 2000 years old, are said to have been built by craftsmen who came to the region with Alexander the great, and were an important Buddhist pilgrimage site when Genghis Khan conquered asia.
