Logos Galore, all in vector format. Seems to be quite a handful of logos here. Hope the copyright-infringement is enjoyable. Too bad they're not in one gigantor zip file...
Dreams of Space: These books outlined the future the children of the baby boom would grow up in, the world of space. The illustrations in these books show facts (as they were known) mixed in with the fantasy of space flight and led many of the readers of these books to "dream of space"
State of the Union Address Ok, fine, USA Filter. I admit it, but OMG no one else will do it: The State of the Union Address and Democratic response were on damn near every TV station tonight in the US, and I'm sure on quite a few non-US TVs as well. Discuss. Ponder. Whatever. Let's get it on!

Curious, George: Memory Troubles Not quite the same as previously discussed. I've been repeatedly told that I should write memoirs of some sort, but I can't seem to remember, well, most of my life. [more inside] more inside

You call this Ok, Al? Track listings for "Everything's Ok", Al Green's newest album, are all silly and I like that. They include: "Daphnis Et Chloe: Part I: The Young Girls Attract Daphnis's Attention And Surround Him With Their..." and "The Old Shepherd Lammon Explains That, If Pan Has Saved Chloe, It Is...". Curious George: I want a TiVo! I know the basics - can anyone recommend the best type of TiVo and acccompanying DVD-R to have? What questions I should ask when I go shopping around? Month-to-month or lifetime subscription? Are they going out of business? Assume I'm a guy who watches a few shows regularly, loves movies, and is sick of seeing my river of full-package cable content flow by unexamined.

Curious, George: DVD to Powerpoint I need to import a video clip from a DVD into a PowerPoint presentation. I used Mac the Ripper to rip the DVD, but now I just have a copy of a DVD on my desktop. Any ideas how I can convert it to a useable file format?
What does abstinence mean?
Abstinence-only programs like those promoted by the Bush administration don't seem to be working on teenagers in the president's home state, according to a state-sponsored study by Texas A&M University researchers.

I immediately experienced a true bond with Yanks everywhere; I felt that we shared so much more than merely the gleeful bombardment of Muslim lands. I practiced yodelling
