Dreams of Space: These books outlined the future the children of the baby boom would grow up in, the world of space. The illustrations in these books show facts (as they were known) mixed in with the fantasy of space flight and led many of the readers of these books to "dream of space"

  • Wonderful link, especially all the pictures of the books themselves. I was not quite six years old when Apollo 11 landed on the moon, and my early childhood was filled with books just like these (in fact, probably many of these, even though I don't remember any of them specifically). ))))

  • I very distinctly remember "You Will Go To The Moon" from when I was in first grade. It was one of my absolute favorites. So glad to see somebody else remembers it.
