2 guys, a "sniper" rifle, and your Bluetooth-enabled phone. This is easily the most awesome-est thing that I have read all morning. Two guys add a yagi (a type of directional antenna) to a sniper rifle, and are able to capture data from the cell phone more than 1 mile away. more inside

IMDB's 100 lowest rated movies. Most of these shouldn't come as a surprise: Gigli comes in at 14, Shanghai Surprise at 31. At 51 is Spice World, and at 99 is Freddy Got Fingered. But Glen or Glenda came in at 93, and that was a lot worse than Spice World. lol. The worst of all time: 'Manos' the Hands of Fate (1966). Has anyone seen this? Can this be verified as indeed the worst movie in all movie history.
A love note to the 'premiere' actor of a generation. While I don't feel as strongly about Tom Cruise as the author apparently does, he does nail some of the reasons why Cruise has failed to thrill as an actor. more inside

Danger In Indiana VENICE -- Officials in Indiana and Washington, D.C., said they are dumbfounded by a statement U.S. Rep. Katherine Harris made about a terrorist plot to blow up a power grid in Indiana. That's because in an election year only a Republican running for higher office can keep America safe. "As the sheriff of this county, I would certainly be aware of such a threat," Hamilton County Sheriff Doug Carter said. "I have no information to corroborate any of that." In an interview Tuesday, Harris would not reveal the name of the mayor who told her about the threat or provide further details. I suspect that this man is the target of the terrorists.

The end of music. "I'm fascinated by the idea of, say, your favourite band writing something that you can't stand. I've often asked people: What's your least favourite track by your favourite band?"
