The Apathetic Radical ("Not Really an Oxymoron, But Who Cares?") urges every American to "Vote Like You Care, Even If You Don't."
  • Does your polling location hand out, "I Voted Today" stickers after you voted? Last Presidential Election, my polling location didn't hand them out:( On Election Day, it's nice seeing folks with them around town.
  • (thom, yes they do. one of my friends put it on a shirt but when he peeled it off it left a weird permanent stain. uh-oh.)
  • I remember, a couple elections ago, one 70-something election official offered me a sticker with the words, "Would you like to shame your friends to come and vote?" And you know, it worked with at least two of them!
  • (there'd be more responses here but obviously everyone is being apathetic)
  • Not terribly apathetic - I even went Googling to see how much it would cost to print up a gross of BearGuy's stickers (av. price = $175)
  • $175?? USD? Tell you what, I'll make them for half that price. Maximum of two colors though, and the background has to be white. Now send me money. /Nostrildamus
  • yeah, but what are your international shipping costs? That's where I always get burned. Also, I couldn't believe how expensive it was, and think I was just not being thorough.
  • True 'nuff. Depending on the size, it can cost anywhere from 7 USD to 20 USD, I believe. I think I can squeeze 144 stickers into one of our regular sized parcels. You'd be surprised. Color printing, especially on good-quality paper can cost tons.
