Danger In Indiana VENICE -- Officials in Indiana and Washington, D.C., said they are dumbfounded by a statement U.S. Rep. Katherine Harris made about a terrorist plot to blow up a power grid in Indiana. That's because in an election year only a Republican running for higher office can keep America safe. "As the sheriff of this county, I would certainly be aware of such a threat," Hamilton County Sheriff Doug Carter said. "I have no information to corroborate any of that." In an interview Tuesday, Harris would not reveal the name of the mayor who told her about the threat or provide further details. I suspect that this man is the target of the terrorists.
  • Well, I can't really see how it will gain votes for Indiana since it hasn't gone Democratic since Johnson.
  • They covered this on Crossfire yesterday and even Tucker Carlson had trouble keeping a straight face while defending this wacky shit.
  • terrorists fight authority, authority always wins.
  • Someone put her and pie wagon in the same leaky boat. /mrrrowwrr
  • i live in Katherine's district and i can tell you she is a mess
  • Or, as I like to call her, Katherine Embarrass. Come on people, help me out, I am trying to start a meme.
  • U.S. Rep. Katherine Harris told a religious journal that separation of church and state is "a lie" and God and the nation's founding fathers did not intend the country be "a nation of secular laws." The Republican candidate for U.S. Senate also said that if Christians are not elected, politicians will "legislate sin," including abortion and gay marriage. Praize Jee-zus-uh!
  • There are those who disagree.
  • nifty!
  • Even the Bible supports separation of church and state. New Testament: Render unto Caesar and all that. Old Testament: Numbers 27. ** sits back, waits for feces to fly
  • And then there's the all authority is given of God crap, which means that, if someone's in charge, God put them there, so sit down and shut up you heathen bastard!
  • Holy shit Harris wins GOP primary. Cool!
  • Oh, ho! This is going to be fun. Chuck Shepherd loves that there will be two more months of Katherine Harris crazyness.
  • Heh thanks for the link. It reveals: As Katherine Harris' rocky Senate campaign takes an increasingly evangelical Christian bent, her remaining top campaign staffers are preparing to jump ship. Colleagues say Harris' closest confidante lately appears to be spiritual adviser Dale Burroughs, founder of the Biblical Heritage Institute in Bradenton. "Dr. Dale," as she is known among campaign staffers, describes herself as a licensed clinical pastoral counselor who counsels in behavior temperament, career, crisis and disaster, among other things. licensed clinical pastoral counselor. Words. Fun-ny.
