Ready for a bughunt?
Now we're going back into space, looks like the Marines are finally getting that space-deployment capability they've been after.

Researchers recover typed text using audio recording of keystrokes.
"What makes the technique feasible is that each keystroke makes a relatively distinct sound, however subtle, when hit. Typical users type about 300 characters per minute, leaving enough time for a computer to isolate the sounds of individual keystrokes and categorize the letters based upon the statistical characteristics of English text."

Lucky for him, the camera was there
(Embedded .wmv) Funny and cringe inducing. Even when it's humor, racism is harsh.
Mildly NSFW, I bet.

Curious, George: Bicyclettes
For Christmas last year, the Lady Squid bought the Man Squid an inexpensive mountain bike from a sporting goods chain store. Although the bike has gotten me from point A to point B plenty of times, it's now falling apart - with it in the shop just about every other week - something new (tires, tubes, rims, spokes, deraileurs, cables) seems to be breaking on it with every passing month.

Announcing Anonymous George:
Koko and middleclasstool have come up with a great system for posting anonymous Curious, George posts. If you'd like to ask the monkeys about that mysterious rash or how to pick up chicks without all the awful embarrassment that may invoke, check out the link in the sidebar.
God: A Career Retrospective

Soup!
Soup may be the greatest food ever invented. I mean, there are so many different kinds to choose from, and they're all so good! But the best thing about soup is how warm it makes you feel, and how it can always make you feel better, no matter how upset or angry you are. Personally, my favourite soup is Lipton's chicken noodle, because it's salty and original. What's your favourite?
