Barney 4 Life (Audio NSFW, Video NSFA)
'Pac's "Hit 'Em Up" synched with your favorite purple dinosaur. As Ultragrrrl sez: "THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER". Hip hop heads may appreciate this more than others. I was floored.
My toolbelt is getting a little tight: Playboy launches "Women of Home Depot." Beats working for $7.50 an hour I suppose. [CNN article, i.e., perfectly SFW.]
MONKEY HATE CLEAN! Damn dirty humans. more inside

I scream, you scream, we all scream about repellant Japanese ice cream flavors. Can you believe wasabi flavor, or eel flavor?
Gay Aides Are Going To Be Outed On The Hill This was a rather stupid post by a left wing blog (I bet no one ever thought they see me type those words). more inside
Lego Spider-Man Ok, this is just really cool. And honestly, how can you go wrong? Spider-Man? Good. Doctor Octopus? Kinda good. The two of them duking it out in a Lego New York? Goooood.
Spamalot! The "officially ripped-off" musical starring Tim Curry, David Hyde Pierce and Hank Azaria. more inside
10-4 Good Buddy. See you on the flip-flop.
Mario Brothers Music on Piano - performed by a blindfolded guy. Delightful! Then he takes his blindfold off and really gets into it. Via Boing Boing. This is a 7.6MB Windows Media File. Download choked for me at first, but on retry came down seamlessly, so you should be ok. Safe for work unless they hate Mario Bros. more inside
The Underbunny: The photo art of a talent who just happens to work in a Seattle mortuary. Many of her photos would be compelling, even if they didn't show you a part of life/death few of us get to glimpse. (Via waxy.org)
Abandoned & little-known airfields. Slightly arcane, but lavishly illustrated and rich with obscure history on forgotten US airports. Being a Dallas native, my favorite entry describes the massive Greater Southwest Airport, which brought American Airlines 707 and DC-10 service into Dallas but was demolished and forgotten by the end of the 1970s as DFW Airport came online. (mirror in case it goes over bandwidth)
" Probably the most hyper-exciting comic about Mexican food you have ever read!"
Via the always exciting Mark Martin.
APE-O-NAUT!
"with kill them in the face action!"
Francis Bacon: On Revenge may speak to some, but it seems that the desire for vengeance may put those who agree in the minority. Whether it's General Sherman's march or today's products, tips, and actions of vengeance, a fascination with revenge seems to abound. more inside

CIA Was Wrong The Senate Intelligence Committee found that the CIA's estimate of Iraq's WMD was, well, wrong. They didn't have any WMD, nor did they have the capabilities. As of yet, it's the CIA fault.
Kerry + Edwards: Let's get it on [Flash]
aural thrills, monkey style
Didja know that our own Mr. Forksclovetofu (proprietor of The Tofu Hut) has been posting monkey-centric mp3s all week? I see that a discussion has already developed in this previous thread.
NAACP says slur was ok because child was white Actually in reviewing the video, it appears that Riordan was just being his typical unconscious self and said something that at best would be considered slightly insensitive. But what is interesting is that the NAACP was going to go on the attack until they found out the child was white. This strikes me as a bit disingenuous. When you call a black child a "stupid dirty girl" it can be considered racism, but if she is white then you can dismiss it "with to err is human and to forgive divine"? What if Al Sharpton said the same thing to a white girl? I don't think anyone would have considered it racism. Insensitive maybe...
