Daily Show correspondent Stephen Colbert is getting his own show.
Where the Daily Show makes fun of news broadcasts, Colbert's show is supposed to make fun of talking heads. Hopefully, it'll be good.

Whizzball!
Like you were getting any work done with the #@%! zombie game anyway . . .
A local Onion clone - but funny!
This newspaper from my fair city has been publishing erratically in print for a couple years and it's really pretty good. They seem to actually be updating their website now (huzzah!) so you monkeys can share the giggles. They also seem to have a blog (but then, who doesn't?) which I haven't really read carefully yet but hey! It's Wednesday! Read & giggle! Or chortle. Or smile sadly.

"Then you'll have a little bit down at the bottom, the white stuff, and that's your meth."
Do you speak American?
PBS put together a site to go along with its broadcast special (premiered in January) that's chock full of linguistic goodness! Take a quiz or check out the dictionary.

Teh Steve Moustache Show!1!
I laughed, I cried, I got my daily fill of internet stupid. (wmv videos)
The Prank Place
offers everything from truck nutz to, um, the dancing toilet turd. Not for the faint of heart nor the stupid-humor-challenged. But for the rest of us, a gross gag goldmine!
Any Zombies Out There?
Yes. Lots. And they're bloody hard to kill.
Nice and frustrating little game. [via]

Curiously Jittery George:
When viewing certain .wmv files (okay, a torrent of last night's Daily Show) the picture is very clear but also very jumpy. I've tried viewing with every media player I have... what gives, monkeys?

This guy is sick of BMG Music.
You might be too, if you're one of the lucky people who have recently received a CD you didn't order. Oh, and there's a bill enclosed. Apparently this is BMG's new marketing campaign: send people music and a bill, and they will pay. Unfortunately, it's almost impossible to call and complain or even cancel your new "account." I wonder how many people are falling for this?
Curious George:
I have a friend with an iPod hard drive problem and I told him I would ask here, maybe one of you Monkeys knows! Not owning an iPod, I personally have no clue.

Nobody reads books or go to libraries,
now that the glorious Turkmenbashi has given us the only book worth reading.
Lockheed Martin
has come up with a replacement for the Shuttle that is uglier, flimsier, dumber-looking and even more of a chunky-ass piece of crap than that which it is supposed to replace.
I have seen the future, and it is fugly.
