Curious George: Baby Vomit Stains.
Any advice on how to clean up baby-vomit stains from a mattress? They are still moist and seem soaked-in.

Curious Blog Photo Questioning George:
My wife has recently started using blogger. She was using Flikr! to upload photos in order to have a url to link to for embedded images. However, she did not realize that Flikr! has a limited number of free monthly uploads. Can you reccomend a similar service that allows unlimited free uploads?
(both she and I are relatively new to the blogging world and might be missing something obvious here, so please point that out if that is the case.)

Something about this story make me very happy.

Monkey Rucksacks:
Now that I've returned to school, I need to carry many large textbooks, notebooks, and a laptop. Because of this I have become a fan of messenger bags. Where I live Timbuk2, Zo and Chrome are the favorites, but I recently purchased this beauty and have fallen in love with it.

Curious George--reunion.
I recently became re-acquainted with a childhood friend of mine. While searching the web, I came across a book that he had written and instantly recognized his name. After a little more searching, I found his website and email and contacted him. We have exchanged letters and caught-up with each other's lives (its been 21 years since we parted.)
Does anybody out there have similar stories? Has the web helped you contact lost friends, etc?

A nation with a soul of a church
"Upon my arrival in the United States," Alexis de Tocqueville wrote in 1835, "the religious aspect of the country was the first thing that struck my attention." Throughout American history visitors have remarked on the religious character of the United States. G. K. Chesterton, for instance, concluded that America thought of itself in religious terms and that the United States was "a nation with the soul of a church."
In light of the influence of religion on the recent election I think it good for all of us to brush up on the role of religion in the United States in order to put our times in perspective.

Curious (fasting) George.
I frequent a cafe in my neighborhood where the majority of the employees are Algerian. This weekend is the beginning of Ramadan, and most of the guys at the cafe are currently observing the month long fasting. I see these guys everyday (often 2 or 3 times a day) and count them among my friends -- they play with my 7mo old son, we talk about current events and gossip in the neighborhood, make fun of the tourists, etc. Which brings me to my question...what does one say to someone who is observing the fast? "Happy Ramadan?", "Good Luck?", "Keep it up?"
