Microsoft Word grammar checker ain't so good.
An associate professor of marketing at the University of Washington has found that the spelling and grammar checker in Microsoft Word aint what it's cracked up to be.
He's been written up in the Seattle PI newspaper, MSNBC and even the dreaded Slashdot.

Last moments
of Tsnuami victims caught by camera. A local (Vancouver, Canada) couple went missing during the tragedy and were later found dead. Recently, the memory card from their wrecked digital camera was found by a relief worker, from Seattle. The card contains pictures of the last moments before the tsnuami hit Thailand. If there is a sliver lining in this story, it's that their sons know they were together at the end.

Aparthied leaders make "Greatest South African" list.
South African Broadcasting Corporation pulls the plug on the Greatest South African contest when prominent Apartheid leaders make the list**. SABC had planned to air a TV program where the viewers get to listen to debates and then vote for the one they think was the greatest citizen.
It all starts to go horribly wrong when the white population starts voting in large numbers for people like ex-President PW Botha (#87) or convicted murderer Eugene TerreBlanche (#25)
