Curious George: the lost art of letter writing
In this day and age of ubiquitous email, instant messaging, online forums, and text messaging, do any of the Monkeys write letters anymore?

Judge John E Jones described the Dover, Pa., school board policy requiring Year 9 Biology students to listen to a prepared statement that evolution is not a "fact" as being one of "breathtaking insanity."

Curious George: share your RPG memories
Inspired by this comment by Fes, I'm wondering how many of the Monkeys used to (and perhaps still do) play 'analogue' RPG games (ie, you know, the ones where you'd sit in the same room with the other players)?

At first I thought it was a pigeon
And then I realized it was a skeleton. And then it became something else. Requires flash, and may be ever so mildly not suitable for work, if you work somewhere where these things are considered not suitable.

Wondering George: which online forums do you spend time on?
I work nights and often spend long hours killing time doing very little. I'm wondering what online forums the other Monkeys enjoy spending time participating in (aside from the rather obvious MoFi / MeFi)? Be it politics, technology, entertainment, special interest, sex, you-name-it - what are the engaging forum sites out there on the net?

headtrauma.org

Surprising results in Florida. Again.
Did something fishy take place in Florida during the recent election? An analysis of registered voters versus actual results in Florida counties suggests some very surprising swings to the Republicans in the face of party registrations. In particular, the results for Libery are worrying, but by no means the only county where concern maybe warranted.
