I think I found MoFi through a comment on MeFi. In any case, I lurked for a while, liked what I read, and finally decided to join. I participate in a lot of political forums where the discussions get fevered and the rhetoric sizzles. MoFi is my way of chilling out.

62, female, vegetarian, hard-core Leftist Liberal, born and lived all of my life in New York City until 8 years ago when I moved to the mountains of Northwest Montana. I'm still suffering from culture shock and miss New York very much. I bead and read and surf the web to maintain my sanity.

One more comment about Card: a few years ago there was an interesting and revealing interview with him which reflects my feelings when I sought to learn more about him after reading his books.
