i found a sugar sandwich recipe in a cookbook as a kid - peanut butter, margarine, brown and white sugar on white bread. loved those with a big glass of milk.
my sister would eat picante sauce or miracle whip sandwiches.
my big thing was ranch dressing on a slice of american cheese.
i think i was injured more from the seat belt in my "sandwich" car wreck last year than anything else - but like path mentioned, i won't forget the ouch/whew feeling i had of being stopped by it instead of by safety glass.
what i don't understand is the sheer number of people i see on the road without belts on. my brain can't wrap around the idea.
oh and i thought the pictures of kitties with hoods & hats was bad!! our dog would never forgive us for this - she barely tolerates the antlers at christmastime!
thanks for the laugh!!!
path, i never said it was the best thing ever. i simply provided a link to somewhere that looked interesting to me. if they had a restaurant here, i'd try it.
i don't need to tell you what's worth discussing for you to respond - you've done that enough by your own volition.
please, continue the bitching if it feels right. i'm all about doing what feels right! if this feels like an advert to you, then by all things interesting, it is allowed to be an advert for you. but just for you. i'd hate to make these sorts of exceptions for just anyone.
you, however, make me smile.
path - or perhaps i saw the newseek article and posted it for reference and a halfway interesting story. the website link after that is self-explanatory.
as for discussion, you could talk about how interesting or stupid the idea of the restaurant is. you could talk about how maybe you think they've sold out to corporate america. you could even go out on a limb and argue that it goes against main-stream dietary society by promoting a high-carb lifestyle. your imagination is the limit of the discussion.
or you could expand on your current topic and continue to complain about how i could have made this a better post. but like it or not, discussion has ensued.
i appreciate your feedback.
i had a laparoscopy to help eliminate some of my adhesions and endometrial growth. unfortunately, the pain came back shortly after the procedure. my gyn put me on year round birth control pills. now i don't have a period or pain. (i have noticed some minor pain but it is so sporadic that i don't really count it)
this method isn't recommended if you are planning to utilize your reproductive system.

PY - perhaps it was Quaker Corn Bran? that's the only cereal i can find that was corn, puffed, and had a scarecrow as a spokesperson.
