I gave up on my NT after I got tired of running around tagging zombies that had already been sampled for the day. Firearm users are the deadliest characters in the game in a fight, but have to contend with some serious downtime to prepare for each of their epic bouts of zombie-killing. Firefighter is probably the most painless way to start the game, especially as you have access to the refuge of the group and don't have to start off worrying about how effective you are in combat in comparison to a group of zombies.
We've taken back that fire station from the zombies. If anyone would like to chip in, we've got some barricades here that need to be put back up. At the moment, it's only lightly barricaded.
Ah, that was satisfying. I just tracked down the last human to kill my zombie character. He made the mistake of sleeping in an unbarricaded police department next door to the building I was killed in (I don't know why, since he had the Construction skill), so after I got up, I just walked in, slaughtered him, and walked out, leaving the doors open for any other zombies to come inside and make short work of the rest of the inhabitants there. Revenge is sweet.
I think the 10ap thing is too expensive. It makes so that zombies have to start hiding, instead of sleeping in the street. Kinda ruins things that way.
Well, if you save your AP to move in one go as a zombie, the most you can be killed in one day is once, and it's not costing you too much, really. Kevan had to do *something* to make things balanced, since as it stood, killing zombies actually acted as a full heal to them for the princely sum of 1 AP. If the penalty had been in place before, Belmont couldn't have broken into HQ as easily, since I killed him before he had finished breaking down the barricades initially. With a 1 AP penalty for death, he just stood right back up again and finished invading our safehouse. There has to be some kind of a tactical point to our killing zombies, or it's just a joke to be in combat with them at all.
I'm in the mall... I think i'm gonna get 'bargain hunting' and just keep searching the gun store from now on...

Is this worth investing in? Do you get better results this way than searching in a PD?
I'm playing as "John Parker", BTW. Hello, all.

I knew I shouldn't have left my zombie sitting in the police department. **sigh** What a way to waste 10 AP...
