You can also read my upcoming book, "The Trans-Continental Bride" It explains things like finding THE dress and bridesmaids dresses in one day, at one shop in 3 hours.

Hey NTI! So, yes, I am the one getting married in January in PA. What was I thinking, right? Don't ask, because I really don't know at this point. Down to the wire now. Really glad my soon to be sister-in-law directed me to this thread though! Checked out the IndieBride, and that was a great help. In terms of planning a wedding, The Knot local boards were a great help. And even though bridal mags are EVIL, I suggest getting one to at least to see what you are getting yourself into. All I can say is do what you please. . .it is your day! Don't get too many people involved and remember if it pleases you and your BTB, that's the choice you should go with. My biggest planning tools were the yellow pages, Google searches and recommendations from friends. You can spend hours of time on the internet looking for ideas, but it usually just drives you insane. I am insane now, but for totally different reasons. Fiance lives on the other side of the world, getting into crunch time at work, planning to move to other side of world, etc. Remember, this is YOU and Mrs. NTI's day. . . not your mother's, MIL or other crazy relative/friend's!
