W2K's command line interpreter is close enough to DOS for me, even though the internals are different. I mainly use it to run the DJGPP port of less, and the occasional FC. Also, some of my utilities were written with DJGPP, which is like gcc for DOS, but understands long file names.
Through most of college I used punch card computers. With only 3 runs a day you were forced to study your program very closely before submitting the job. Every once in a while some poor soul would drop their deck that they hadn't sequenced yet, and have to spend an hour putting the cards back in order. It was a big advance using paper tape with the minis - I had time to go smoke a cig while the tape was loading.
Actually Richer, I own an Oliver 1600, which is a little smaller and older than the 1850, but looks very similar, if you're that eager ... That's in Michigan, too.
I am also a longtime lurker on MeFi who discovered MoFi from there. One interesting thing I have noticed is that during the time when I have been clicking the new user link at MeFi and have always found it busy with growing pains, several new users have been added there - I have found user names I didn't recognize, and when I clicked on their names, found incept dates in August and September of this year.
At work alot of people are issued cell phones instead of desk phones, presumably because it is so important for them to be in contact at all times. This had lead to the irritating phenomena of people who can't sit in their office and talk, but must roam the halls having loud one-sided conversations. They're like zombies ... I feel better now that this is off my chest.
My parents always played the Rogers & Hammerstein musicals when I was growing up (they seemed to be the only records they had), so I'm kind of burned out on them.
But I do have a soft spot for Strictly Ballroom.

I'm probably opening myself up to ridicule by admitting I use it, but the AOL 9 browser gets SideDish's error message as well.

Matrix sure looks like Gridrunner to me. That was a great one - it should be much higher than 47 !
