The Core. I don't know about the worst, but it is absolutely the stupidest movie.
Which reminds me...I remember a website that used movies to talk about scientific principles. (The site reviewed The Core the worst science movie of all time.) But now I can not find that site. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Thanks
oh yeah, vampires...I slept with a pillowcase wrapped around my neck in the belief that "unwrapping" me would wake me up and enable me to run away. Too many episodes of Dark Shadows I guess.
ew, shawnj, that red eye! ugh.
and naxosaxur, i'll never forget a Twilight Zone where scenario #3 actually came true, when a mommy spider the size of a VW bug came back to get the guy who flushed her baby spider down the kitchen sink. I still think of this episode when I kill bugs...
I believed - for a scary few days - that if you swallowed a watermelon seed, a watermelon would start growing in your tummy and then burst open, kinda like the Alien baby in Alien.
great link. I'm going to start rereading Little Women right now. (For more academic stuff, don't forget the University of California Press.Genethics:Moral Issues in the Creation of People or The Honeysuckle and the Hazel Tree:Medieval Stories of Men and Women, anyone?)
Only those with rug rats know the irritation of having "Imaginary Friends" or "Friends for Dinner" from Littlefoot, Cera, Ptre, and Ducky going round and round and round...
BLEWBYU (possibly tempting fate), BLUE4ME,2BLU4U, BLUEDAZ, SKYBLUE,AZURE,INDIGO... really trying hard to come up with something combining SAPPHO and FIRE...
I saw my favorite plate of all time a few years ago when I lived in LA ...PRAY4LA
there was a mefi link on the spider/acid thing but I can't find it.
i know they're just spiders and i killed two last night, but something still bugs me about giving mind-altering drugs to animals of any kind. it seems kinda cruel.
I'm curious beeswacky, where you think the rights and responsibilities of fathers of unborn children (or of day-old embryos? of children one minute old?) begin?
I wonder what's the story on the father of those Utah twins.
Nice top 5, though I'll have to add Suspiria to video list. The Ring scared me too. Anyone read the translation/seen the original?

Never encourage overindulgence - grab all restraint, grab all niceties, though underneath...ahhh!

I think it only works with IE, Mozilla and Netscape. Popups have to be allowed to get it to work, and it's not the speediest thing either :-(
