it's a travesty that I celebrate it? I recognize it and hope it continues. I'm happy that for once they did their job, and I recognize that they have more work to do. I haven't forgotten the toxic waste dump. I deal with it every day like the rest of us. I hate this administration as much as the rest of us. But you really need to admit something. There will be no impeachment before 2007 (if it happens at all). This administration and their destruction of my country isn't ending any time soon. Fact it, they're not going anywhere. It sucks, but right now, there's nothing I can do. Last november, I campaigned and I voted against Bush. I did my part, and it wasn't enough. Now, I have to wait it out like the rest of us. Sorry tensor if seeing one brief moment of fear/instability coming from the whitehouse. But if that's all I can get, I'll f**king take it.
The post was less about rove's actions and the fact that for the first time, the press corps didn't just roll over to the press secretary. It may/may not lead to a long term change, but it was a nice breath of fresh air to see it.
They are different kinds of poppys. Only certain types of poppies produce opium. The ones on bagels don't grow into opium poppies. If they did, I would enjoy my bagel breakfasts much more.
I don't see what the problem is with the new check clearing rules. I used to work in a bank, and trust me, the waiting period for check clearing is a HUGE pain in the a$$. Not only will people know exactly when funds will be available/withdrawn from their accounts, but it will also seriously limit check kiting
Jim McGreevey is resigning for many reasons, only one of them is this most recent lawsuit. His administration has been rife with corruption and scandal. Here is one example of his troubles.
1. It isn't a Bjork video in the beginning. This clilp is from a skateboarding video called CKY.
2. These people aren't from Iceland. They're from Pennsylvania. It just happened in an Iceland hotel room.
3. These are the same people behind Jackass and Viva La Bam.
Sorry for the shameless plug
Just an FYI, this joke wasn't created by Matt Parker or Trey Stone. It is actually a joke that has been around for some time. The details of the family's act change slightly, but the general idea is the same. The only thing new in the South Park version is anything related to 9/11. I was at the taping of Comedy Central Presents, The Friars Club Roast of Hugh Heffner and Gilbert Godfried told this very same joke.
If you're looking at the more debaucherous side of things, I'd suggest Kings Cross

In "May 5 is the National Day of Prayer"
Here is a history, another view at this event, and my favorite take on National Prayer Day. While nationaldayofprayer.org isn't a government institution, the first Thursday is legally regarded as a National Day of Prayer (The Senate Bill, S 1378, signed into law by Reagan on May 5, 1988). Aren't theocracies great?
