LJ has a statistics page which provides, among other things, an age breakdown. I use LJ, and there are a lot of teenagers, but the median age for those on my friends-list would be in the mid to upper 20s, I bet.
I'd actually prefer LJ not to go the way of MT. My hope is that they don't.
I prefer the Red Cross, having worked with them a bit in the past. I donated $1000 for the Tsunami Relief Fund and trust them to spend it on helping, more than I'd trust, say, that guy. lol
I don't care about getting a free soda from a machine. I don't think this is floating around so people can steal, either; reading the article you'll see that's not really possible. It's cool because it's something you can do, practical or not; hacking doesn't have to be negative.
When I buy electronics, I look for stuff with a lot of features. Will I use most of them? No. But I like knowing I could if I wanted to. Just knowing you can do it is the point. IMO
Does anyone know if this is being mirrored anywhere? I'm in the Middle East and the Army blocks a lot of websites (including this one, as "mp3 and Streaming Audio"), so I can't download those.
