In ""Louie Louie" Turns 50"

Nope, but then again neither could the Kingsmen...

In "Furious George"

Dreadnought: You mean like footbib does? (check your install, it should already have it)

In "Eighth Annual Valentine's Day Poems"

Nice to know I can at still claim title of "Not bitter", if only by comparison. Lot of crud there, but some gems too (and even the odd really sweet one).

In "News/Sexfilter: "

Ehm, if you run the risk of getting a fine if you don't carry a condom, wouldn't you want to avoid using that condom, to avoid getting booked? I mean, you could carry the used condom afterwards, but somehow the idea isn't particularly appealing.

In "Peekaboom"

I think the orange ball and robot pics are frames from Robocup.

In "Aromantic George"

Also, am I the only one who read that as Aromatic george?

Lawrence of Arabia? (I'm not sure, it's been so long since I've seen it, but I do remember that it's one of the few films with no speaking roles for women). Then there's Labyrinth, which despite all its metaphors doesn't really have any true romance. If that doesn't count there's Clue, which isn't that well-known but worth watching for the excellent Tim Curry performance alone and is romance free. Then there's the obscure stuff like I woke up early the day I died, but that's cheating because not having any plot to speak of makes not having romance easy.

In "Curious George: What CAN Satchel be watching?"

Are you sure it's not just a generic tv show? (I don't read GF, so if there's any context or story arc I'm missing it)

In "Reading Don Quixote"

As it happens DQ is very near the top of my to-read pile, nice coincidence that this year is its big anniversary. I'll have to make a start this week. And kfisto: No, not really. God that book's tedious.

In "Curious George: What did you do today?"

Actually, I slept around the clock nearly twice, though I have no idea why. Still, I had some interesting dreams so I can't complain (not that I'm a frequent MoFi poster ora anything).

In "<b>BiCurious, George?</b>"

Though I'm not familiar with squidranches as a species, I suspect it'll require an expensive operation. The dishwasher will probably just give you some nasty burns and a severe case of claustrophobia. Not to mention an ugly imprint of the cutlery basket in your nether regions.

In "What's first on my Christmas wish list?"

They're books or DVDs, you can tell because they have ASIN numbers on the additional info page. ASIN numbers are numbers Amazon.com uses to identify their wares, target apparantly syndicates Amazon's products.

In ""Don't take us there!"... At least not until we decide whether "There" exists."

Oh, and do by all means look at the turf war the clitoris article is right now. It's being reverted at least once an hour right now, lot's of fun for the whole family. Warning: the article contains a picture of female genitalia. Oh wait, now it doesn't. Oh wait, now it does again. Warning: the article contains an unecessary disclaimer. Wait, now it doesn't. (etc).

For those of you not used to Wikipedia who want to see the big fights (actually, usually things are kept reasonably civil), click on the link to the article, they go to the "discussion" tab which is where all the behind the scenes bickering happens.

In "Teaser for New Star Wars Movie"

I actually kind of liked attack of the clones...

In "Man Tries to Convert Lions to Christianity, Gets Bitten"

Not in a cage with lions in it, that's for sure.

In "Starter Jackets Fetish Site (SFW)."

Yes, this is terrible. I refuse to have to look so many pictures of (ugly) jackets to find some gay pornography.

In "Jon Stewart on tonight's CNN "Crossfire""

That was highly worth watching, thanks. 96.5 AVI? Is that like increasing the wetlands by 3 000 000?

In "Mother, do you think they'll drop the bomb?"

A surprise for the players or for the audience? Improv is ncie, but all in all I prefer something more solid. While I do feel compassion for what happened to Syd, I prefer the Gilmour Pink Floyd. I like stuff like Dark Globe, but I prefer the Placebo version. Syd definately had the element of genius, but lacked the necessary refinement.

Pretty unlikely, but we can dream. Still, I think Pink Floyd is quite capable of putting on a great live show without Waters: The Division Bell tour (and P.U.L.S.E) were terrific. An album with new material with Waters, Wright, and Gilmour would really brighten my century though.
