I don't know what all the yelling and screaming was about. It was consensual, wasn't it?

In "How many of these have you read?"

19 (and I have a lit degree)

I, for one, welcome my new, accomplished, tidy, Christian would-be fiance. Well, seriously, I wish her well. I would like to know what sort of responses she gets .. .I hope she chooses well. I would think that the guy would need to be VERY tidy. Leaves me out.

In "Bush Declares: 'We Do Not Torture'"

Sounds an awful lot like "I am not a crook." That worked for Nixon, didn't it?

In "Curious LA Eatin' George"

Long ago I ate at David's, or Ye Me Loo, in chinatown. . .a very old place with pics of stars on the wall. .I thought that it was very good. . .the other place that comes to mind is Stottlemeyer's sandwich place somewhere around there. . . I am an ex-pat angeleno though and have not lived there for almost 30 years. . .

Well Wurwilf. . my wife is arguably as flat chested as I am. . .and I find that to be very sexy and *they* seem to work just fine, in a pleasure sense (not to mention nursing a child for almost 4 years). I hate to see women bemoaning how they were put onto this earth. . it's all good.

I am not huge. .I actually have no idea because it's silly to measure, but I have intercourse from behind with my wife because it hits her cervix and hurts. So yeah, the whole penis enlargement thing is a mystery to me but I also cannot fathom why a woman would get a boob job. .I mean I *hear* why but I cannot really relate. . .

Well it strikes me as whimsical and fun, these murals. I would have preferred to see *ordinary* women rather than models used, but the whole deal just seems pretty lighthearted and unworthy of too much political parsing. . . Or, as Peter Alsop famously said: It's only a wee wee so what's the big deal It's only a wee wee so what's all the fuss It's only a wee wee and everyone's got one There's better things to discuss

All I have had left behind have been a couple toothbrushes a few times. . . 23) All right. We put it away. We keep it hidden. We never speak of it again. No one knows it's here, do they?

Yeah!

There are inexpensive motels in El Segundo. Extended Stay is one that I have heard OK things about. In Hermosa (my home town) there is the Surf City Hostel which I have never stayed at but it is right ON the beach in a cool place. The Getty Museum is something I would not miss . .it's free. . you can take pub trans to get to it and it is spectacular and has a great garden and great view. I can be emailed off this list if you want to pick the brain of someone who grew up there. . .and goes back to visit every year.

At MeFi, Surferseth would have been frogmarched to Metatalk and lashed to an inch of his rhetorical life. Over here he's gently kidded with the idea that it could have happened to any one of us. . . Not me of course.. . but still. . .

I have had no exposure to this group. The original intentions and how they pulled stuff off sounds brilliant. . . It seems like if something devolves into lawsuits, maybe it's time for it to die a natural death and be reborn in some other fresh, anarchic form.

In ""Curious, George: Browser popups in dsl""

Export your bookmarks (bookmarks->manage bookmarks->export) uninstall firefox, then go to any mozilla folders (usually in programfiles) and delete them since uninstalling usually leaves the prefernces behind. Which means the I would need to have MIE or maybe Opera in order to get a new version of Firefox. I hate MIE. . .and I can tell when my daughter uses it (even against my wishes) because there are a bunch of eZula files that I have to delete. Anyway, all of you, I appreciate the time you have spent to post about this. . .

I updated firefox tonight and it is still happening. . .

oh and I run ad-aware and S-D regularly.

Well the homepage that my browser opens to is yahoo. . but this new *volunteer* browser always opens to Mozilla.org. Hardly a malicious thing, but still. It's baffling, so far.
