i love monkeyfilter! Some excellent responses.
My one concern about straw bale is the basement seems to be much harder to construct.
Excellent ideas about planning and taking courses/volunteering.
And thanks for all the warnings, too. It is one thing to expect it to be a lot of work, and quite another to experience the "lot of work".
middleclasstool - i figured i would need someone for that, digging the hole and laying the foundation properly - but thanks for verifying that.
rolypoly - followed your link and found your weblog. Weird, today I was taking a break from work outside and saw some bees going from flower to flower and was thinking how great it would be to have a hive, and then i read your weblog.
rolypolyman - I don't suppose you are doing a blog about it? Know of anyone that is? Anytime you care to send an email - creamcitian@yahoo.com - I would really enjoy to hear any of your stories/experiences.
Thanks for the response.
Thanks all, for your ideas! I guess what it boils down to is me wanting to just have someone pay me to drive all over the darned country - but it ain't gonna happen.
All indicators point to rates going up for the forseeable future. However, before locking in with your bank, shop around for lower interest rates. However however, if you just want to get it over with, 7.5% ain't bad.
Man, I love it when people are adult about things. I apologize, too, going overboard with things.
jb - It would be nice to know how much legislation comes through lobyyists and how much lobbyists actually represent the desires of the constituency.
I have an idea, path, how about, since you want to discuss with sources and support and reason and the like, looking at who actually posted the link before calling somebody out?
I believe that I am the one you want to roast, no?
Also, if you would like to prove the link wrong, how about using some supporting evidence, some sources, to show what a cock-up that image is - how wrong that person is in thinking money rules the day in politics?
