Depends on the service and features you want, but I've had good experiences with Textdrive and for a smaller sort of operatiion (i.e. not quite virtual hosting) Cornerhost.
If you're comfortable at the command prompt look at rsync for performing your backups to disc. If memory serves it comes as standard with OS X.
If you prefer a more 'pointy-clicky' experience take a look at SuperDuper.
