In "Monster Brains"

I found this in the archives and I fell in love. Thanks, dng! This is incredible.

In "Purple & Brown. "

I've seen these shorts on Nickelodeon a few times, but I didn't know they were by Aardman. I like "beardie" especially. Thanks for posting this, xenmate! I'll bookmark the link and watch more when I have time.

In "Don't trash the 'stache?"

What about Matthew Arnold mutton chops, The Underpants Monster?

In "<b>Curious, George</b>-Nasty Food, International."

My mother knew someone who ate fluffernutter sandwhiches (fluffernut marshmallow creme and peanut butter on white bread) with bacon. Mmm...nothing like greasy crunchy bacon to compliment fluffy marshmallow... Marshmallow in jar is in and of itself pretty disgusting, really.

In "MoFiCDX:VI"

I've been waiting for another cd swap! I'm in.

In "Curious, George: UNLURK!"

I've posted twenty four comments so I suppose I'm excluded from the lurker party. If it counts for anything, I can't remember every posting a comment, let alone twenty four.

360 points! Awfully addictive game. Mygothlaundry: Yeah, I wish they'd give the correct answers, too.

In "Curious George: Which new language"

mothninja, you've inspired me to learn Piedmontese. I'm currently learning French in school, and I would love to learn German and Greek (or ancient Greek, for that matter. I know a tiny bit (the first five lines of Homer's Odyssey) but that's about it). Sign language has always appealed to me for some reason (though the only thing I can say is 'nuclear power plant').

In "Curious George wants a ‘nana. "

I used to eat raw nest pasta (as seen here) and raw macaroni noodles. And soggy graham crackers soaking in milk.

Bronze bust of George W. Bush vs. hotel soap? Y'know, I was planning on doing something productive this evening. This is what I get for checking Monkeyfilter when I'm supposed to be working, isn't it?

In "Curious George:"

I'm going to have to add the phrase "sanguinary ambuscade" to my list. Can't recall exactly where I read it, but it's quite possibly from True Grit.

I like the sound of "aquamarine" and have always been fond of "impromptu" and "ameliorate". Not sure what my all-time favourite is, though. And as for "moist", hm... it doesn't bother me, but I don't particularly like it, either.

In "Wanker!"

How about 'wangst'? Combination of angst and wanker.

In "Musical George:"

Tiny Mix Tapes.

In "Watch the Monkey DISSOLVE"

Creepy! I think it's the fur and skin coming off that I have a problem with. It's pretty cool aside from that, though. Golliwog's Cake Walk by Debussy works well as a soundtrack.

In "Curious George: Whats the stoopedest theeng yoov evar don?"

I haven't done anything too incredibly stupid, but I did do something rather silly when I was about four or five years old. My dad was standing perfectly still, so I walked up to him and bit his hand as hard as I could. I later explained to my mom that I was just trying to make sure that he was still alive and not a statue. A friend of mine in junior high lit her hand on fire in science class. She, uh, "accidentally" spilled alcohol all over her hand and then "accidentally" got her hand near an open flame. Same friend later lit a paper towel on fire on her desk and tried to extinguish it by blowing on it. This caused it to fly onto the floor, and she panicked and promptly dropped a book on it.

I wanted to be an environmental scientist when I was about seven or so, and I wanted to go to MIT. Currently, I don't really have any plans for my future (well, maybe something to do with writing or painting or...something). My mother, on the other hand, would like me to become a journalist in France/spy/opera singer/ski instructor.

Menomena (Mp3) Their website may give you seizures. Just a warning.

In "Hello, Big Fella!"

It's like the Magical Train Summoning Dance, as performed by the Japanese Bullet Train Summoners. Very cool.

In "Curious George: post-election soundtrack."

A lot of classical music (Ravel, mostly). Alone In Kyoto by AIR and Beach Party Tonight by Yo La Tengo as well.
