The Toyota ones are real easy to do and the instructions are in the manual. Just pop the case apart with a coin and change the battery. They use a CR2032 coin cell which you can get just about anywhere that sells batteries.
Does Jeep do something wierd with theirs?
Hey, even Canda is not completely metric.
Cooking is mostly in imperial, with some use of the gram and litre (but a litre is 4 cups in cooking and 400-600g is ~1lb).
Most building work is done in feet and inches.
Many people still give their weight oand heigth in pounds and feet/inches.
BTW The US has been officially metric for many years. It's just that no one uses it. All of the 'standard' measures are defined based on metric measures. See for example http://www.unc.edu/~rowlett/units/usmetric.html
I have used MPlayer to capture Real streams before. http://www.mplayerhq.hu/
Use the -dumpstream option to write to a file. You have to work out the URL on your own from the page source. It will handle http:, rtp:, rtsp:, mms: and mmst: URLS.
It is a command line program with many options and dense documentation, but it will play almost anything. It is primarily a Unix program, but a Windows version is available.
In Ontario the proper place to wait for a left turn is in the intersection, directly across from the opposing left turn lane (This is from the drivers handbook and drivers ed.).
You are supposed to be able to leave during the yellow light, except people run it.
if the light is red and your IN the junction - it's a violation.
Except here where it is possible to enter the intersection on green to make a left turn , but not be able to complete the turn until the light is red because all of the cars running the yellow.
I have been stuck in an intersection until the other direction had green because of light runners.
Note: Just because you have a green light doesn't mean you get to go. You do have to wait for the intersection to clear first! Don't honk at me because I was stuck waiting for light runners.
Mississauga has some really bad drivers...

The claims are the description of what is patented. That is where you will find the details of the device, but they will be in lawyer-speak.
