A big thank you to meredithea! My package arrived this morning and made my day. It was exciting getting a package from so far away and from someone I don't know. I love the cute looking animal on the front of the Christmas card, but could you tell me what it is? There wasn't anything printed on the card so I would just be guessing.

patita and jb, I was going to send a perpetual calendar to my secret monkey. I had to decide against it because of the airmail cost but aren't they useful as well as nice to handle and look at.

I had to put my return address and also list what was inside. I would rather the contents could have been a surprise for the far away monkey.

Thanks for the links. It was interesting to see this drawing as I recently saw “Starry Night over the Rhone” at an exhibition of “The Impressionists: Masterpieces from the Musee d’Orsay". People queued for up to two hours to see the exhibition and it was well worth the wait.
