  • Cool, my first monkey mix. I've been really psyched about this! My only concern is it seems like people really get into the album art. As someone with a lot of music but non-existant photoshop skills it is intimidating.
  • I'm in too! And rollbiz, don't worry about the art - I've made three weak black and white ones so far, and no one's complained. Well, to my face, at least. ;)

  • I'd love to, but I have yet to send my June CDs. I keep saying today will be the day, but then a baby throws up on me or a relative comes to stay or the sun comes out and I decide to, I dunno, plant a lawn or something. Like today, which is a combination of all of the above. If I get those CDs done today, I'll sign up for this one relatively guilt-free.

  • So did I - and I had several mixes in the incubation. But I was kind of off internet for most of the month. So sad! And my favorite number is 5 :( Maybe we can have a mini exchange sometime soon? I'd happily send you a CD, klausness. And you can pick what you'd like: non-english music, covers that are better (or as good as) than the original (in my highly subjective opinion) - or set a challenge theme (I like those - it makes me work).
  • jb! You stole my mix idea, dammit! The mix I'm doing for CD swap IV is covers that I like more than the originals. I'd be interested to see what we have in common, if anything. Of course this is the mix I am constantly saying is almost ready to send...
  • I usually don't have themes in my mixes (I try to just do things that sound right together), but maybe a theme would be an interesting challenge...
  • Would you like to try a mini-exchange? Anyone else who missed the cut off date? Tracicle, we could always exchange title lists and files - I wouldn't be surprised if we had some in common (the sonorous Mr Cash, for instance) but I'm always interested in new covers.
  • If we could find a couple of other people to participate, I wouldn't mind doing a mini-exchange...
