Goin' to Kansas City, Kansas City Here I Come:
A lazy man's tour of The Toy and Miniature Museum, located in Kansas City, offers two floors of childhood relics for the curious to investigate.
Older toys mostly, but some more recent, like the model cars in Room 24 -- plus Russian lacquerware, folk art, fun things, worth a peep if you are fascinated by the small, or curious about what kids did for amusement before the Age of INformation began its blitz.

ooh, little things! I adore little things - the smaller but still accurate and working, the better. Scroll down for two versions of the same room, the second a miniture of a miniture.

Coool post, Beeswacky! Lots of fascinating dollhouses and such, but I think being the chief curator of a Space Toys museum would be my dream job. And no kids allowed! They'd just wreck everything!

oh, jb; two excellent museums with extensive "mini-room" collections: The Thorne Rooms at the Chicago Institute of Art, and the"Miniatures" at the Baltimore Museum of Art. And don't forget Legoland in Carlsbad, Ca!
