His shoe phone no longer rings.... RIP Don Adams, Maxwell Smart of "Get Smart", one of the funniest comedies i remember watching as a kid. "Noooo, not the Craw...the CRAAAWWW!"
  • Into the great Cone of Silence. R.I.P.
  • I was going to post that epitaph, Capt. Renault! But I missed it by THAT much.
  • Sorry about that, Don.
  • I'm gutted. I grew up with Get Smart reruns and Inspector Gadget on Sunday mornings. That distinctive voice, the slapstick comedy. He was worth two 43s, that 86.
  • Also: Get Smart movie starring Steve Carrell, next year.
  • .
  • Sorry about that, Chief.

  • I guess my childhood is really over now. Might not be such a bad thing given that I'm 36 and all. But still: .
  • Don't tell me this means an end to childhood. I guess my childhood is really over now. *exasperated* I asked you not to tell me that.

  • This bums me out.
  • I'd really like to see someone pick up the re-runs. Perhaps Nick at Nite... It would be far better than the Cosby re-runs
  • R.I.P. #86
  • Thanks, StoryBored, I needed that! And .
  • Was not the opening sequence to this show one of the all-time great opening sequences to a TV show?
  • Dah-dadaaaa-DAH, dah-dadaaaaa-DAH. Do-be-doodly-doodly-doodly-doodly-doodly-doodly-doodly-doodly-doo, DAH! /enter Karmann Ghia
  • Sorry for the above, alcohol tolerance currently low.
  • Was not the opening sequence to this show one of the all-time great opening sequences to a TV show? Yeah, and when i watched it for the first time I thought that using a phone booth to enter a secret headquarters was REALLY COOL!!
