101 uses for a dead cat . . . better make that 102 . . .

Hmmm. Up until now, the only things my cats were useful for was eating food, and producing dustkittens, hairballs, and poop . . . and damn the price of diesel is getting up there here in the Great White North.

  • Wow, I bet that won't set the biodiesel movement back at all. I wonder why he didn't use puppies.
  • Any any efficiency gains get multiplied by nine!
  • (AND any. Sorry.)
  • Er ist der Mann, der den (Stuben)-Tiger in den Tank packen kann. (auf Deutsch, like, duh) This is pretty crafty. Rather than talk about generic roadkill in the garbage mix, he goes straight for the heartstrings with dead kitties.
  • BTW, dustkittens = them balls of cat fur that drift about the house, even if you sweep 2 times a day. Big ones are tumblecats. I can just see car manufacturers posting their miliage in kittens per 100 km already . . .
  • My loyalties, they are so torn! The kitties, the cheap gas, the kitties, the cheap gas.... Can't we just have cheap kitties?
  • Update from Reuters makes this whole story a bit nicer for the kitty lovers. Probably cuts down on the wear and tear on the big blender too.
  • (That's about my favorite picture evar, at least at the moment, apart from the one with the cow with it's tongue hanging out - and yes it is genuine)
  • That pic kinda looks like a squirrel that collided with a turkey drumstick (the first one). And surely the cat in the second one inflicted tactical revenge on the pelican? The tail looks posed for attack...
  • What the heck was that pelican thinking?
  • The minds of pelicans are inscrutable.
  • What the heck was that pelican thinking? Mmmmm.... krunchy kitty . . . .
  • So, if we add "pelican feed" to the number of uses, we now have 103.
  • Dead pelican in 5...4...3...
  • Oddly enough, the only pelican I'd ever seen was in cartoons. They look pretty weird in real life.
  • "And you think you've got a crappy job..." Heh. Cartoon pelicans...
  • Monkeyfilter: FWAH!
  • Felines in the fuel lines? Tiger in your tank indeed! What madness! Nepeta cataria replaces sugar as the automotive saboteur's best friend! Competing agencies try using dogs instead! Car chases increase by 184%!
  • /collapse
  • Dead cats? Sheesh. What about live squirrels?
  • Can you imagine the smell coming out of the tail........ pipes?
