I had the same idea BleHorse, but saw that the image tracks were stripped bare on preview. Oh Monkeybashi is a cruel mistress!

So in theory, it should work if you do this:
<img src="http://www.forumspile.com/WTF-Orangutan.jpg" width="100">
BUT copy the text first, because when you preview the tags will be stripped. Paste into your preview window and hit "Post new comment" and all, theoretically, should be well.
The img tag is on, so if it doesn't work then it's something to do with the Metaphilter engine and I need to recode it.

I'm fat now. Those were taken at my 'normal' weight some time ago. I look like a different person. I found to my chagrin yesterday that I can no longer even fit into my decent dress pants. I am as fat as Benicio Del Toro was in Fear & Loathing. I mean, he is about as much bigger than his normal weight in that as I am to mine right now. It is rather depressing but I am far too lazy to do anything but complain about it.
