Ask a scientist.

Why do we blush? Green is good for camouflage, why is there no green fur? Will exposure to cold weather give you a cold? Oh! and lectures too.

  • The green camouflage page is really fascinating. Thanks.
  • Wolof, I ♥ Karl. He was guest speaker at a company Christmas lunch I attended. He didn't stop talking for an hour and a half.
  • awesome links
  • I am immediately sending that cammo link to everybody in my lab. That was fantastic - great post.
  • Nice links! Up for a few more? Cornell Center for Materials Research is one of the more navigable places I've come across. For more irreverent answers, you could always Ask Dr. Science (he knows more than you do).
  • Thanks, planistic, I was just about to look up Ask Dr. Science, as I was telling my girlfriend about him and his Master's Degree (in Science!)
  • Nanar for Telly! Now to think up an intelligent question...
  • I've been on the Ask Dr. Science email list for years, and I have to admit that it's gotten really dumb over the last year or two. No offense, but he's really suckin' bad anymore.
  • I'd agree, techsmith, it's much more humorous to search the archives. Mad props, by the way, to tellurian and Wolof.
  • Nice links. Well done. But I still have to go to Bill Nye the Science Guy. His theme music is mad props, as the kids say. /du-du-du-dududu!
  • Bill! Bill! Bill! Bill! Inertia is a property of matter...
  • Ooooo... ))), tellurian!
  • Good stuff, but really more "Ask a Biologist". I wish there was a physics section.
