Glitterrock is a "screen capping" site
where people have been posting entertaining captions for television and film screen shots for several years now. The site is a little hard to navigate, but you can find links to the galleries here. The humor is a little uneven (this is the internet, after all), but when it's good, it's pretty damn funny. Star Wars Caps. Star Trek Caps. Doctor Who Caps.

Way too many - hour and half just gone. My eyes feel like they are falling out of my head.

Also, the very funny Engrish captions of Fellowship of the Ring and The Two Towers.

More generic and random capping fun at Inventing Situations. Lurker's Gallery here. Thanks, the_bone, now I'm not gonna get any work done...

The Star Trek ones are quite funny.

I used to do something like this with some friends. Someone would tape Star Trek Voyager, and record what characters appeared in it, and their approximate number of lines. We'd then replay it without sound and ad lib our own dialogue, which would be recorded on tape. It was a hell of a lot better than the original (duh!), with better continuity, even if it tended to the surreal.
