Hawaiifruit.net is an intersting collection of images and data on the many fruits of Hawaii.

I've been following the The 12 Trees project while expanding on my studies of sustainability. Be sure to see: The Giant Jackfruit. This picture is priceless! Heh... Recipes developed by students and guest chefs (a nod to LaGatta) Banana! Mango! Avocado! And if you feel like donating, they need a bulldozer.

  • The only fruit of Hawaii I'm interested in is this kind.
  • This post is a little fruity.
  • Chy, are you sure this isn't more your type of fruit?
  • OH SNAP!
  • There are (at least) thirty varieties of mango and sixty kinds of avocado? I had no idea. Now I feel like such a philistine.
  • It's clearly missing the most important fruit of all, as anyone who's eaten one would agree: Jamaican Lilikoi [pictured here, scroll down] Also known as the Jamaican Passionfruit.
  • crap. the missing link
  • From Hectorinwa's link: Woke thirsty with a cleansing BM in the works, not ready to release though. ... took my shower & got ready for work, then had the BM, whew! Riveting!
  • The is good, but I wish the site was easier to navigate. I'm not an expert, but most of the people I've conversed with that were active in our sustainability movement were against most non-local plant, which most of these are.
  • Don't forget this wonderment! I washed my face (with water), did about 10 or 15 min. of light rebounder work, 20 pushups, brushed my hair and got dressed for the photos. Gosh, can't wait to read what happens next!!
  • don't forget the flowers of Hawaii
  • Darn it, Zanshin, you beat me to it.
  • deconstructo, we can share.
  • mmmmmm, fruity!
