Babble - a hybrid of Boggle and Scrabble. (Warning: highly addictive!)
  • Sorry, I'd put in comment here but I'm too busy looking for that damned T8/60. And the two S9/66s...
  • I'm not just a user, I'm a pusher too. Mwahahaha.
  • The game sneaks up behind you and pounces on every last drop of free time you can spare. You'll find that you frantically type letter combinations five minutes before each day's puzzle ends in hopes of stumbling on those last few words you need. During the day, each sign you see or book you read will fade away, leaving only its letters behind. Those your brain will chew on till you shout out (to no one in particular), "Yes! an S7/36!!" Heed the warning well! (( oh, and someone rescue me! ))
  • Just in case anyone might be swayed into playing this demonic game, consider whether you might have known these words required to get a perfect score for the last game: emfs fehs firn herm neif reif secern Run away. Run away now!
  • Melinika, you are an evil, evil woman. May boils fall upon your fingertips and render you unable to type. Ok, I don't really mean that. *logins*
  • I found a A7/48 I think she-tiger is a real word.
  • Stats are up, yo. 238 words today.
  • I can imagine how much time I'd waste on this if I liked either Boggle or Scrabble. Now, if was an online Settlers of Catan, then that would be an issue.
  • Did somebody say online Settlers of Catan? (needs java) As pointed out on the Metafilter thread - comparisons to Scrabble are limited to maybe the letters having value. And that it is perhaps inspiration for the name they have given their game. I remember the site from some time last summer and back then there sure wasn't a heavy load of people submitting max scores. back then you could at least hope to get up at the top of the high scores with a good effort but now it appears it requires a little something more.
  • My friends and I always refer to Settlers as "Kettlers of Satan". Sometimes I wish someone would actually make a game with a name like that.
  • I hate word games, with extreme prejudice. I'm more into math and logic puzzles. So I have no idea why I'm enjoying this game. Maybe it's because I came this close to spelling the words "egghead" and "shitstain".
  • Curse you gspm. Now my days will be filled with unproductivity. Or rather, more unproductivity than usual.
  • 305 words today - after two days of small puzzles now it's been two days of huge ones.
  • I admit that I bugmenot'd that site and kicked some ass without entering a single unique word. I rule.
  • Today's is the dirtiest puzzle I've ever seen. It has STFU. It rules.
  • I couldn't get it to load earlier, despite obsessively refreshing for fifteen minutes.
  • Yeah, that's happened ever since it was linked on MeFi (oops) and USAtoday. We had the same thing. I don't know if it's processing all those scores, or getting slammed when the new puzzle starts, or what.
  • I think I'm becoming a little addicted.
  • MonkeyFilter: I think I'm becoming a little addicted. way too easy :(
  • Monkeyfilter: It has STFU
