• Meant to link to the second one in the series. This is why flash sucks and has ruined the interweb. Well, one of many reasons.

• This is like the dream I had the other night, where I was peering into my monitor trying to see Fes - his user page had a picture of him walking through a factory. • This is why flash sucks and has ruined the interweb Just curious, why is everyone so against Flash? People put warnings in FPPs and others get real grumpy. What's up?
• It's a Zionist conspiracy.
• It's the guys running Linux that usually have problems with Flash since they don't have a Flash player. Otherwise, it's people who have varying degrees of issues with graphics or rich media being served up over http. Some of the really cranky ones only want text with no formatting beyond the absolute basic minimum and graphics are considered more evil alcohol at a Baptist social. That's about 1/4 of Slashdot.

• hmmm... I bet you these are the same people talking on their phones while driving.
• My eyes feel dry just by looking at that guy's dad. And i guess the woobling and twitching it's a comment on that guy's alcoholic consumption, or just antoher Flash feature? And yes, I feel when linking to some Flash content, a warning is in order; not that it's evil but usually it involves long downloads and if badly implemented, difficult to navigate links (when you have some flash menu you can't see the link you're jumping to until you click on it).

I think the MoFi flash warning's a great consideration, though I wasn't refering to that. Flash sucks (for example) because it hides the links you want to pass on, exactly like what happened to drivingmenuts when s/he posted this FPP.
• Flash had nothing to do with that. It was because the site had frames and I failed to notice it. Note the "accurséd frames" commentary. However, mea culpa for not putting a Flash warning on it.
• Flash makes it harder for me to get the information I am visiting the site to get, which frustrates and annoys me. It's difficult to navigate, hard to link to a specific thing, and always takes longer than an html site. It's good for pretty stuff and games, but in that case I would appreciate it if all the flash content were separate from basic content.
• Ahh, you're right, it was a frames issue. I still dislike flash ;) (Not related to monkey's FPPing flash links!)
