Live8 Concert videos.
Friday video goodness. If you missed it, here it is: video footage of all of the concerts broken down by artist. Click, enjoy.

Ha beat you by 4 minutes! (I kid, this was definitely worth the FPP. I'm just don't do them quite often)
-
Also available directly at AOL here, albeit with annoying ads. Download seems to be a bit faster. Took a few days for some of the artists to show up (I was frustrated having to wait for Neil -- NEEEEEEEEEEEEEIL!), but it looks fairly exhaustive now.

I don’t think any of this is illegal. If it is, does it help that I live in Canada? That alone was worth it. Nice to see quality video for a change, rather the the usual grainy hack-job. Also, my first glance at any of this Live8 event. Can't say that I'm fond of all of it, but there is some great stuff in there! Thanks for posting SB. Who the hell is that drummer in the set with Paul McCartney? Damn! He must eat gravel for breakfast.
-
Indeed -- thanks for the FPP, SB.
-
Yeah, good FPP. Thanks.
-
This is good...now I can see that Bruce Cockburn set I missed at the show.
-
The solo on 'Rocket Launcher' is amazing, r88.

So where was The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown or Hawkwind amongst this shit? I saw a bunch of sad old fat bald bastards miming to tapes of Pink Floyd but that was about it.
-
Hmm... rhythm section composed of nameless pros playing the only amplified instuments, while the people responsible for the anthemic music of my adolescence stagger around onstage like the jowly, wheezing codgers they have become. Rock and roll does not age well.
-
Huh, I thought it was cool to see Waters up there again with the ol' blokes, especially hearing Comfortably Numb with the right singers on the right parts... And they weren't faking it to a recording.
-
And there opens a 2-decade old debate among all sound engineers concerning Floyd.
-
Wow. Just watched a-ha in Berlin. That's another fond memory crushed. (Good thing they didn't play 'Living Daylights', so that there remains at least one good thing about that movie... sheesh.)
-
I'd be surprised if they still used tapes.
