Spunky scientists!
A book review for "The Genius Factory" about the whacky antics of highly-intelligent(?) people. See men who think they are smart beat themselves senseless trying preserve their attributes for all time. Come dumpster-diving through the annals of shameful Nobel-related behaviour. This post and an earlier one form a wierd kind of synergism.
I couldn't resist.
-
Oh, come now.
-
spermfilter!
-
SideDish beat me to it!
-
syner-gism.
-
spermfilter! I thought they pulled the sponge off the market.
-
Perhaps that's what those sperm cube people are really after. They're going to make this humongous bukkake soup and let the strongest, fittest spermatozoa emerge. Then the experiment begins... /cue creepy organ (ha!) music
-
"Spunkyfilter is a Metafilter clone, only with more bananas and less flinging." Eww.
-
Nah, Flagpole, after the show's over they're going to hook it to one of those giant tippy-buckets you see at water parks, and then...
-
Dammit, mct, I read that as "spooge". Now I've been sucked in.
-
I hear this is how they made Ira Glass.
-
I can't tell which is making my stomach upset -- the bad jokes, or all the sperm talk.
-
Hello. Sperm Talk? Am I on the air?
-
Hi, Sperm Talk, long-time listener, first time caller. Umm...how many times a day before, um, you know, your brain asplodes?
-
The Genius Factory began as a series for the online magazine Slate Which was posted here, a couple of months back.
-
The implications for the future of humanity are truly frightening... I mean, books based on articles from Slate. Icch!
-
Truly, it is our duty to deseminate this information.
-
I would venture that the book is a seminal work in it's field.
-
I would suggest that it... er... jizz... big spermy cock... um. Or something. I need coffee.
