James Dean's Adventures.
I just thought this was too hilarious. The congas! The Barbies! Um, maybe not the best of the web, but kind of fun. I do love kitsch.

Hilarious? Obsessive, monotonous and pathetic yes, but hilarious, no.
-
Sorry, I know I have bad taste vis s vis everyone's high standards. I'll just dissolve now.
-
No need to dissolve. I just didn't find it "hilarious". Actually most stuff out there is obsessive, monotonous and pathetic.

Dr. Barbara Inman Beall a/k/a "The Professor." She sppears to be an English professor in Colorado. I have to wonder what her classes are like. And, all those JD's in one place make for weird. Seems to me his raison d'etre was being unique. Speaking as someone who was hopelessly in love with him in 1956, I'm sure that only a couple of outfits look like anything he would have worn. I wonder if she sews the tropical ones herself. As I recall, he was into a scene much like death rock or goth, from what I can tell. His relationship with Vampira was pretty shocking at the time. It's too bad that there weren't JD dolls with different facial expresssions. She could have done stories rather than just showing them all together in unidentifiable locations. Since she teaches English composition, I'm very surprised that she didn't do any narratives for the pictures as they are.

Ok, I get it. So no kitchy stuff. Gottcha.

No, no one said "no kitchy stuff". I just said that it wasn't "hilarious". Honest, post whatever you feel like. I'm not the mofi police. But there is no need to be so reactive and passive/agressive when someone disagrees with you.

cynnbad - if you thought I was complaining, I really wasn't. Just musing along.
