• The in-laws are taking me out to dinner tonight, so I can't come. Also because I live in Canada.
• PS - There will be red beans and rice and video.
• I would, but I'm having dinner with Koko.
• And I just bought walkie-talkies. We can play coalition of the willing and insurgents. I've got a Koran we can desecrate. No kidding though, I really do have walkie-talkies.

• Darshon, just download the Firefox's Chatzilla. Then all you have to do is click on the side-bar's mofirc link and Chatzilla does all the connecting for you :) easy-peasy. squidranch, I heard you got "videos"!
• Derail: My target date for California arrival is on or around June 17th. I'll need a day or two to sleep off the cross-country drive, but if hot unadulterated meetup action were to occur sometime that weekend or early the following week, that would be rad.

• Well, it's still never here, dranch -- thus far two of my browsers have failed to open it. Not even audio. /goes off to third browser.
• It played back well. For the record, I'm on a friend's iMac running OSX Panther, and I viewed the movie in Safari.

• I just downloaded the movie and I'm trying to play it with the free version of Quicktime 6.5.2 -- I get audio, but no video.
• dranch, finally suceeded in getting the audio. Sounds like ye had great fun. Quicktime via IE can't access the visual stuff, and informs me it can't update itself to fix this. Seems Quicktime fights with Windows Media PLayer, which is what I would prefer to use for this. Ach, why won't software folk synchronize their products?!? I'm going to try uninstalling Quicktime, see if I can get the whole thing. Damn nuisance.
• It played very nice with the mplayer plugin in Firefox on Linux. So nice it actually shared its sweets with the onther children and painted its mum a picture for the fridge.

• FYI, it worked after I updated quicktime. Squid, thanks for doing that. We must make sure you get equal time in front of the camera next time.

This lack of shoutouts is exactly the kind of hate-filled poison that is killing America, and when China invades and you are all forced to give them endless naked piggy-back rides you'll look back on this moment and say "We were fools. • Hey Squidranch, Mandyman, Space Kitty and Sexy Robot I just wanted to say thanks for putting together a meetup on less than 24 hours notice for a dirty desert camper such as myself. It was fun meeting all of you and a great way to wrap up my California trip. And I have to say, not only is Squidranch an awesome host, he makes the meanest red rice and beans west of the mississippi - mmmmh.
