"I just poured HOT GRITS down my pants." Since its inception, the Wikipedia has accumulated plenty of Bad Jokes and Other Deleted Nonsense. Fortunately, these gems are meticulously collected and archived for future generations to treasure.

Sorry if this is old news -- I just stumbled onto it. I think oatmeal is my favorite; but I also like the bits about Henry David Thoreau and Emily Dickinson. There's a best of page, but I don't think it's the best stuff.

Man, I have to say this is a massively pedantic collection of nonsense (kinda like an anthology of Usenet kook postings) and is the kind of thing that needs an editor. Not that it's practical in Wikipedia.
