Why I Support John Bolton
by Larry David.
I ♥ Larry David. This is more about being a sensitive, caring boss than about Bolton per se. More info on John Bolton, in case you're like me and don't know who the hell he is.

ya know... I loved Larry David when I first started watching Curb Your Enthusiasm...then I got tired of him... then i thought he was just stupid..now I just don't like him... we need new funny guys......

Every time I go to that Huffington site, I come away liking it even less. Compare an informative post on TPM with Larry David's sarcastic drivel with a point stuck on at the end like an afterthought to his ego-stroking and you'll see where I'm coming from. I agree with him on this issue (which, to be brutally honest, is how I judge the "quality" of most poli-blog posts) and I still think this is crap. That takes talent- to express a progressive political view while simultaneously making me think you're an asshole is not something many people can do. They should get this guy to team up with Kerry and run in 08, that way I can further explore the depths of self-loathing while I vote for them over whatever psychotic wingnut the GOP puts forward.

The Faffingpost Times will feature insightful commentary from over six hundred thinkers and celebrities like Al Roker, Joe Conason, David Horowitz, a primal fear of the moral chaos (for added zaz!), four out of five Baldwins, and a yet-to-be-determined muppet!

I thought it was funny and pointed Koko. If the thing people are taking away from his little diatribe is that he's an asshole, they're missing the point.

Thanks. I just think Larry David's funny, is all.

Bolton punches windows, chews kneecaps while being ejected from swanky U.N. swingers' lounge (ok, not really - but he does 'step down')
-
First Rumsfeld, then Bolton. Hmmm...
-
Just face-saving. Bush couldn't get Bolton approved by a congress controlled by the Republicans, let alone by the Democrats, he had to use a recess appointment to avoid the hassle. Instead of going thru the drawn out process, this prevents Chimpy from having his poor ego bruised any further.

I support thee, John Strapon.

Wrong thread, dude.
