WWW Virtual Library for History
The original author, Dr. Lynn H. Nelson, University of Kansas, launched the first link on September 21, 1993.
Tim Berners-Lee, wrote in November 2004: "I would like to thank, on behalf of all the people who have benefited from it, Lynn Nelson for his great effort to build and maintain the WWW Virtual Library for History."

This is immense! Only negative comment is that it is somewhat difficult to search topics because of the size and scope; several portals do have their own search functions, but it would be great if there were an all-inclusive one. Hope someone in future will devise one for benefit of klutzes like myself. )))!!!

This looks fascinating, but I think it will take a lot of exploration before I really understand what is here and what is useful, etc.
