Flashlight Museum. The internets are filled with obscure museums and other oddities, so perhaps this should not have surprised me. It links to a history of flashlights. One early flashlight looked like one of its predecessors, the candle. The 2005 Flashlight Collectors Convention occurs May 13 and 14 in Santa Ana, CA.
  • Illuminating. [Sorry] Simple and classic. The only torch for me.
  • Maglites also make great butt-dildos.
  • Yes, but butt-jam is hard to get out of the easy grip handle knurling.
  • Scary and cunning [NSFW]. The only torch touch for me.
  • I torch myself.
  • you sick fucks. great links, caddis! you're right, the web is perfect for stuff like this. a flashlight convention, who would have thunk it. i wonder if this is their anthem. Ha da da dee da hada hada da da... *old but still funky*
  • Speaking of online museums, this is an oldie but a goodie.
  • This is a good link. I particularly like the old chrome flashlights.
  • Now I know what to do with myself... Great link caddis! *begins pulling out collection* wincing at the thought of a cold metal mag lite...
  • Flashlight collectors and modern flashlight enthusiasts have an online-meeting place. It is startling (to outsiders) to see how much money, time, and energy some people spend on collections of premium ($100+), custom modified, or scratch-built flashlights, and to see the depths of obsession that lead some to start their own cottage-industry flashlight manufacturing operations. Many of these people are police officers, security guards, or military personnel - people for whom flashlights can be of serious professional importance. The rest are just slightly nuts.
  • Yooooooou, light up my life You give me hope......
  • What a bright idea!
