A Warrior's Programming Language C++ not geeky enough? Try programming in Klingon!
  • from the language overview:
var'aq is a stack-based, RPN programming language with points of similarity to Lisp, Forth, and PostScript. It is more of a functional language than an imperative (Algol-like) language; most operations are dependent on the stack and bypass the local variable store altogether.
a functional language! sorry, that's just wrong.
  • Okay, when he produces an EBNF for it, I'll be inclined to read a bit more. Otherwise, it hasn't left the conceptual stage, and appears like ... well ... vomit.
  • Although, I -would- expect Star Trek geeks to build a pain-in-the-ass language and base it on Lisp and Forth (the of the most pain-in-the-ass languages I've ever been stuck coding).
  • Pfft. Real Klingons code fucking assembly, baby, none of this HLL sheeeyit.
  • It is a good day code
