Teach-yourself computing for kids Pardon the link to a news site, but i found this story very interesting and wanted to share.

  • Wow, that's really something. On the one hand, the critic is right: these villages don't have running water; computers are a waste. On the other hand, the kids need skills so that they can get good jobs and move somewhere more developed, or develop where they are. I have to say, I hate the migration of the US' IT jobs to India. Still, it is nice to see people, who so obviously need it, being given a chance.
