"If you knew sushi before, we'd like to show you sushi as you've never imagined it." Forget that heart-shaped box of chocolates, give gorgeous candy sushi this Valentine's Day!
  • Pure genius. The eggs, the detail on the ebi, everything. The pictures are quite vivid. We'll see if the real thing's as good. Thanks, SideDish!!
  • Ditto boo_radley. I hope they put as much effort into the taste as the presentation. This is going on my gift-to-give list.
  • I flew through Narita late last year and grabbed my kids sushi lollipops at the duty free. I also grabbed thenm a bag of tiny dried crabs, dusted with salt, sugar and chili. They weren't as popular, they looked good, tasted awful.
  • Only if I can have a wax-dipped bear to go with it.
  • Those look so delicious! I'm having some sort of cognitive dissonance thing - my taste buds are thinking of sushi and I can't seem to inform them that it's all sugar.
  • Tie yourself over with the Sushi screensaver http://www.nephco.com/cursorsandicons/sushi.html
  • tracicle: That's the problem I'm having with it. I don't know if I could overcome eating candy when my tastebuds are expecting sushi. They've done studies where "unnaturally" colored foods do not do well because the disparity of eyes versus mouth is too much. (See: purple ketchup). It is undenyably gorgeous though. Yowza!
  • you mean like chocolate pizza?
  • or spaghetti ice cream? (being gazed upon lovingly by canned goods)
  • Ironically, I yearn for a chocolate-confection simulacrum that tastes of raw fish. Who can satiate my strange desire?
  • or kitty litter cake?
  • (That kitty litter cake looks delicious...ew.)
  • Green tea ice cream (and creme brulee actually) is quite tasty!
