Melon-O-Lanterns. It'd be a shame to eat these, but they're awfully cool to look at. My first post, so please be gentle.
  • oh those are cool! i love the cutlines too: "I congratulate you on the marriage of you." a self-marriage. heh. and welcome tennenho! bananas to you!
  • ))) for an amazing first FPP! ...Subject was mentioned in this thread
  • i see now that actually you've been a user for QUITE SOME TIME. a lurker, eh? well, i'm glad you posted this!
  • Yes, I've been hiding in the shadows, waiting to fling fecal genius at all...
  • beauty post - thanks! I notice they don't have any grapes . . y'know like a grape-o-lantern . . .
  • (Found at www.disinfotainmenttoday.com)
  • I've always had a thing for melons.
  • Shit! If I sign my name the same way twice, I call it art. MelonOmania is just another skill I'll never be able to obtain. Those carvers rock.
  • No. 40 is miiiine...
  • It's besides the point, but the ones that expose a lot of the white rind look unappetizing to me...as opposed to the ones with more red melon and green skin showing. Hmm, maybe the artist could do a Kermit/Ms. Piggy portrait next.
  • kewl
  • wow. that's amazing - i love the way this bloke can get such a sense of colour and movement and, well, life out of a carving in such an unlikely object! that's such an incredible skill. and a )))-worthy first post, tennenho
