Omnikin! flash site with music I've only seen this "sport," Kin-ball, since coming to Japan. Is it popular in your area? How could it not be, with a promo video like this. Quicktime movie Why was it created? Lack of assiduity!

I never heard about it when I was growing up because us kids were so assiduous. (This is my new favourite word)

  • 1. "assiduity" gets about 64,000 hits on google, "turd" gets 1.3 million hits... you do the math.. :) 2. This game looks much like a lot of other contrived games made up by someone to sell to schools and religious youth groups in order to sell equipment. 3. Without bloodshed and violence and without an opportunity to grandstand your own abilities, what good is it?
  • I'd like to see a resurgence of that sport that combines skiing and shooting guns at stuff. Or Lawn Darts!
  • Biathlon is the only sport I ever thought I stood a chance at. Knew a woman who competed regionally. It's like a James Bond sport!
